Testing at Silverstone

Saturday 14th July
Last Saturday was testing day for the 16 girls and reserves. We arrived for an 8am start and after signing on we were straight out onto the Stowe circuit with an instructor for a couple of site seeing laps. We were then allowed to go out on our own, woohoo! There were no cones to tell you where to brake, turn in, exit etc, it was brilliant having total control and trying different lines and braking points. In the afternoon we went through race starts and actually got to race each other, this really got the adrenaline pumping, this is what I've dreamed of doing for years!! Bring on Pembrey, I'm ready for it!
